Hello!

It will soon be looking like the Holiday Season in Downtown Round Rock!  We need MUSIC!

 

We are looking to book small performing bands or acts (1 – 5 people) to do performances in Downtown Round Rock for our Hometown Holidays Parklet Shows.

The theme is “holiday fun” and Family Oriented! We will be doing these evening time shows through the Holidays of 2026.  

The mission of the Arts and Culture Department is to enrich the quality of life, support and foster the enjoyment, understanding, and development of the arts through diverse and engaging experiences. They contribute to the economy and tourism in the community.  The Arts and Culture Department also provides resources, education and artistic initiatives to support and serve individual artists and arts organizations in our community.

The time would be from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. It is outside on one of our Parklets along Main Street in Downtown Round Rock.  These Parklets Shows have become a huge hit!  

 

Setup: The setup would be minimum (you bring your instruments, sound, amp and mics) and we will provide a pop-up tent plus electricity. 

 

Pay: We will pay $500 for each performance.

 

What we want: We are looking for a variety of music and artists.  One band per date (30 spots).  This is a Parklet Show on our Downtown Sidewalks and Stage for our lunchtime visitors in Downtown Round Rock.

 

Be Prepared: Please bring appropriate gear (jackets, rain gear, towels, water, snacks…) and if you bring music, bring your stand and clips to hold your music.  Expect all kinds of weather in December – hot, windy, cold, rainy!  You may bring your tip jars.

 

Dates Available:  Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays – 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on a Downtown Parklet and 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Prete Plaza Stage (setup is one hour before showtime).
